Can JRE Controls service my existing Johnson Controls system?

Yes. JRE Controls provides service, troubleshooting, programming, maintenance, repair, and upgrades for existing Johnson Controls building automation systems. We work with both current and legacy systems and can evaluate your existing BAS to determine what can be repaired, retained, upgraded, or integrated before recommending replacement.

Do you service Johnson Controls Metasys?

Yes. JRE Controls has extensive experience working with Johnson Controls Metasys building automation systems. We can assist with Metasys troubleshooting, programming, controller issues, communications, graphics, alarms, HVAC equipment integration, system optimization, and upgrades.

Can you troubleshoot an older Metasys system?

Yes. Older Metasys systems are a significant part of our building automation experience. We can troubleshoot legacy controllers, network and communication issues, failed components, programming problems, equipment integration, and other issues affecting system performance. We can also help develop a practical modernization plan when portions of an older system are becoming obsolete.

Can you replace a failed Johnson Controls controller?

Yes. We can diagnose failed or malfunctioning Johnson Controls controllers and determine the appropriate repair or replacement strategy. Depending on the existing system, replacement may involve a compatible Johnson Controls controller, an upgraded controller, or another integration strategy. Our goal is to find a solution that works with your existing BAS without replacing equipment unnecessarily.

Do you service NAE, SNE, and SNC controllers?

Yes. JRE Controls works with Johnson Controls supervisory controllers, including NAE, SNE, and SNC devices. We can troubleshoot controller and communication problems, assist with programming and configuration, replace or upgrade equipment when appropriate, and diagnose issues affecting communication between supervisory controllers, field controllers, and connected HVAC equipment.

Can you integrate other equipment into a Johnson Controls BAS?

Yes. We can integrate compatible HVAC equipment, controllers, meters, sensors, and other building systems into Johnson Controls building automation systems. This can include BACnet and other supported communication protocols. We also work with multiple BAS manufacturers, which is particularly useful in facilities that contain controls from more than one manufacturer.

Can you upgrade part of my BAS without replacing everything?

Often, yes. A building automation upgrade does not always require a complete system replacement. Depending on the condition and architecture of your existing Johnson Controls system, we may be able to replace aging controllers, upgrade supervisory devices, modernize portions of the network, update programming, or integrate new equipment while retaining components that are still performing well. JRE Controls can evaluate your system and help develop a phased modernization strategy based on your facility's needs and budget.

Do you work on Facility Explorer systems?

Yes. JRE Controls services Johnson Controls Facility Explorer building automation systems, including troubleshooting, programming, controller issues, communications, HVAC equipment integration, maintenance, and upgrades. If you have an existing Facility Explorer system that is experiencing problems or needs to be expanded or modernized, we can evaluate the system and recommend appropriate options.

Can you troubleshoot BACnet communication problems?

Yes. BACnet communication issues can be caused by controllers, network configuration, addressing, wiring, communication settings, failed devices, or integration problems. JRE Controls can troubleshoot BACnet networks and connected building automation equipment to identify the source of communication failures and restore reliable operation.

Do you provide Johnson Controls service throughout Utah?

Yes. JRE Controls is based in Bountiful, Utah and provides Johnson Controls building automation and HVAC controls service throughout Utah. We regularly serve commercial and institutional facilities along the Wasatch Front and surrounding areas, including Salt Lake City, Bountiful, Davis County, Ogden, Logan, Lehi, Provo, and other Utah communities.
